City Serve 2023

Open Door Mission's City Serve

September 17th - 23rd

Join dozens of churches and thousands of Christ-followers to promote the Gospel, unity, and demonstrateu00a0 the love of Jesus by meeting tangible needs in our Omaha community by partnering with the Open Dooru00a0 Mission to SERVE those experiencing hunger, homelessness, and poverty.

Serve lunch or dinner to men, women, and children experiencing hunger and homelessness. A simple smile can go a long way for individuals who are hurting.

Be an Impact Maker at our Timberlake Outreach Center by sorting, organizing, and shelving donations alongside staff members to empower those struggling with food insecurity to remain in their own homes.

Sort clothing and household goods at our Elkhorn Donation Center in order for items to be stocked and shelved at our Timberlake Outreach Center or Council Bluffs Family Outreach.

Prepare food, organize supplies, make sack lunches, and help with clean-up before we serve dinner to our guests experiencing homelessness.u00a0
