This Independence Day, you are their best hope!

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, “If you love your freedom, thank a vet.” It’s a reminder we all need from time to time, especially around Independence Day. At Open Door Mission, we have many opportunities to thank those who served, because today we are serving them in Jesus’ name.

When these brave veterans came home, some couldn’t leave memories of the battlefield behind. Some have visible disabilities, while many more suffer from PTSD or addiction. Many struggle to make a living or even keep a roof over their head.
