She began to share her story with me, that she was losing her home and had nowhere to go. I saw that she was fighting back the tears, but I let her know that it was okay to let them flow. As she cried, I let her know that she is loved and that there is HOPE in Jesus.
I asked if I could pray with her, and she said yes. As we prayed, another staff member was able to join us and speak some words of encouragement and love to this woman. When she gathered her things to drive over to the Lydia House, she hugged us both. I saw a look of renewed hope in her eyes.
Praise GOD that we were able to meet this wonderful woman and share the love of Jesus with her! This is why we at Open Door Mission do what we do! PRAISE GOD for opportunities!
