I heard two men, on TV, talking about who they believe Jesus is. One man said He was a great prophet and religious leader; both made a point, however, of saying Jesus is not the Son of God.
The New Testament Book of John also answers the question of who Jesus is. The conclusion of eyewitnesses was that He is the Son of God, clothed in flesh, his Father’s greatest gift of love and the Savior of the world. Jesus’ own testimony is that, because of God’s great love for the world, He sent His one and only Son, so we could have life everlasting.
When people come to Open Door Mission, they learn that this Jesus has power to help them find healing from the hurts of their past and hope for their future; an eternal future.
On the first Tuesday of each month, those who come to the “Friends of the Friendless” luncheon, have the opportunity to hear the stories of these transformed lives straight from the people who have lived them.
This month, we heard of numerous ways we can love and serve these people and give them Hope for the Holidays. How wonderful to partner with Jesus, the Son of God, in showing His love to the world.
God Bless You,
