Where is Your Treasure?

At Open Door Mission are treasures are found in our volunteers and donors. The outpouring of love and compassion that comes from the community is often unbelievable. New toys at Christmas, Easter baskets for children, homemade Valentines from children and gifts for the new babies.  If you have never volunteered or donated (gift-in-kind or monetary) to Open Door Mission I encourage you to come down to see how you can make a difference.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here are pictures why our volunteers and donors are such a treasure.

Toilet paper is a must need!
We can always use food…volunteer to do a drive
Volunteer to help stock our shelves with donated food…or volunteer to help cook it!
Bikes are a much needed item, for children and adults.

In one day 38 boxes of strollers, highchairs and “pack-n-plays”…what a blessing for new mothers.
Serving will bless you and Open Door Mission.
Jars of Sunshine is a great group or do at home project that sends love and blessings to our guests.
Dignity Drives provide health care products for men, women and children of all ages.

Valentines for everyone.
