Ready for What’s Next

I’ve just come back from a trip home, and I’m glad to be back – refreshed, renewed, and ready for what’s coming. I am truly excited about what God has in store for several areas of ministry this fall and winter. Those areas include:

– The intentional ministry direction of the Timberlake, Elkhorn, Council Bluffs, and South Omaha Family Outreach/Donation Centers
– Upcoming graduates and new students enrolling in The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI)
– The garden harvest this spring and summer along with possibilities for fall and winter with the greenhouse
– The revamping of Guest Services and the Receiving Area this fall at the Timberlake Outreach Center
– Spiritual growth and healthy community building activities for students in life changing programs
– Revamping of intentional ministry happening at the Lydia House
– The team that God continues to blend together one by one in every area of the Open Door Mission ministry. It is simply amazing and something that only God could orchestrate.

I could go on and on, but these were areas God brought to mind during my trip. What are you excited about seeing God at work in?

Thought:  The view from every ministry should be from the perspective of Christ on the Cross at Calvary. (Brian Murray)
