WHAT:
Open Door Mission will offer COVID -19 relief through a Drive-Thru service on the main Open Door Mission Campus. Fresh vegetables and fruit, frozen meats and diapers will be available. Farmers to Families Food Box Program, C&C Produce and City Serve are providing produce boxes.
“Since our Outreach Centers are still closed, we wanted to make sure that the people we usually serve at our Outreach Centers are still able to get their food pantry and diapers, which is why we are doing the drive-thru service again on Saturday,” say Candace Gregory, President/CEO of Open Door Mission. “We served more than 9,700 people during our March and April drive-thru for resources and we expect more people will need help that never needed help before as a result of COVID-19.”
