My name is Justin, and I graduated the Journey to Work Program this past February. I first came to Open Door Mission from prison. Last July, I was paroled here and joined the Journey to Work Program right away. I was in the program for seven months before I graduated.
During those months, I received my GED and found a full time job. Now I am working, going to doctors’ appointments, and visiting my two young sons whenever possible.
I thank the Lord every day for putting Open Door Mission in my life. By going through this program, I have become a better man.
