Drop Off Locations Closed

Due to the generosity of the community, the Open Door Mission is forced to close its drop off locations including cancelling Spring Clean at Dingman’s Collision Center. All of the possible storage space is full on Campus, including 3 semi trailers. The 3 Outreach Center’s in Elkhorn, Council Bluffs, and the Main Campus serve approximately 10,000 people with homeless prevention resources each month. Empowering individuals and families to stay in their own homes by supplementing their income with gently used clothing, furniture, appliances, food, diapers, toiletries, etc.

The Open Door Mission’s 3 Family/Outreach Center’s have been closed since the middle of March, due to the COVID-19. In light of the recent 18 positive COVID-19 cases on the Open Door Mission campus and the second upcoming campus-wide testing by the National Guard, the re-opening dates for the 3 Outreach Centers are yet to be determined.

Given this unprecedented situation, we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate through this process as responsibly as we can.
