WHAT:
For National Pizza Day on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Copps Pizza Co will be bringing 80 pizzas to feed the hungry and homeless at Open Door Mission.
“What a special treat the pizza will be for men, women and children experiencing homelessness,” says Amy Harvey, Chief Community Relations Officer of Open Door Mission. “Who doesn’t love pizza! We are so grateful that businesses in our community really care about our community and the people we serve. We really appreciate Copps Pizza for showing some love to our guests, especially during this dangerously cold week,” says Harvey.
“My wife and I grew up without a lot and pizza was one of the bright spots, so we want to do all we can to bring that small bright spot for others,” says Kristopher Copp, Director of Operations at Copps Pizza Co. “We know with everything going on that times are hard and we want to do all we can to be a light for people and encourage others to help.”
