Janice had invited more than 150 people, and in spite of the nasty weather, her “show” went on. She held a fund-raising event in her home to support the charity of her choice, which was…you guessed it…Open Door Mission’s Lydia House! With husbands providing “valet” parking, guests were treated to coffees, teas, cookies and candy.
Janice entertained a good number of visitors in spite of the weather, and was able to raise $1,000 for Open Door Mission. In addition, she filled her two-car garage with gently used donated items! She wondered just how big the turn out and donations would have been had the weather been gorgeous that day! She looks forward to bigger and better next year.
A big thank goes to Janice Kuhn and all those who visited her home for Coffee for a Cause!
