It is amazing to watch her work with the children with such care and concern for their health. Many of these kids have gone years without seeing a medical professional, despite any health problems they may have. It is too difficult to make a doctor’s appointment without even a home address to fill out on the forms. Volunteers like Katie ensure that our guests receive medical healing, which is often a vital building block in the foundation for recovery and lasting change.
She is one of many medical professionals that volunteer to help meet the medical needs of the homeless in our community. Would you like to be one of them? Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 402-829-1541. Hope to see you soon!
