One of the greatest gifts I have been given was from a darling little girl at the Lydia house. She ran up to me one day, shouting in excitement, “Miss Jessica, Miss Jessica! Look, look! I made you something at school today.” Of course, I was filled with excitement to see her little face light up! She handed me a paper covered in drawings of hearts and people. When I asked her what the picture was, she said in the sweetest of voices, “That’s my love for you and your love for me, so I can love everybody!” Tears came to my eyes at her love, joy, and innocence!
Wow, Open Door Mission is making a difference in this sweet little girl’s life, as well as the lives of many others! I am so honored and blessed to be a part of it!
