It’s Charity Watts, Lydia House Director giving you an update. It’s has been so busy here. We are in full throws of our wonderful Day Camp for children K- 6. They have been severing 145 children daily with Bible lessons, memory verses, crafts, game time and a day time outing to the zoo, museum’s, roller skating, movies, and even swimming twice a week. Please be praying for July 1st, 2008 we are having Easter in July. We will be hunting Easter eggs, meeting the Easter bunny and having a special gospel presentation. Pray that after 4 weeks of the children learning about Jesus that they will be able to make a decision to come to know him in a personal way on that special day and that we will be able to find them churches to follow up after the summer months are over. Also we are getting ready for graduation on September 13th, 2008. We have about 10 graduates from the Lydia House and we would LOVE for you to come and hear their powerful stories of how Christ changed their lives through the classes, teachers, therapy, case management, educational opportunities and discipleship counseling that are provided here on our two programs. It should end up being a memorable day for everyone with caps, gowns and the best cake ever! Hope to see you there.
