I was surprised because he rarely engages in a conversation, without being prompted. I invited Charles in and offered him a seat. Charles wanted me to know that if he did not receive any further services from the Open Door Mission, the free dental care he was given the day before was more than enough. Charles praised the LORD and shared that in the past, he would not talk much because he was embarrassed by his bad teeth. With a twinkle in his eye, and a brand new toothy smile, Charles again praised the LORD and turned away.
